( BW)(CA-COMPLIANCE-AND-RISKS) C&R Offers 30-day Free Trial of Global Regulations Tracking
Business Editors

CORK, Ireland--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec 03, 2008-- Electronics Firms Can See Latest Enhancements to C2P Compliance-Monitoring Tool

Compliance and Risks (C&R) announced today that it is offering a 30-day free trial of C2P Navigator, the online regulations-tracking tool that electronics hardware B2B and B2C companies use to monitor the impact of regulations on their products and business activities. The offer is available until December 31, 2008.

C&R's European Sales Director, John Peavoy comments: "This offer, which includes the latest enhancements to our software functionality and user interface, allows users to see the effectiveness of C2P for themselves. By offering a risk-free trial, we are also encouraging customers to explore a more-for-less compliance solution in these tough economic times."

C2P Navigator is a read-only version of C2P Enterprise, the web-based compliance knowledge management (CKM) system. Like the Enterprise version, C2P Navigator contains more than 3,300 global regulations across key policy areas such as WEEE, RoHS, REACH, EPEAT, Batteries, Labelling, and Packaging which are updated on a daily basis. C2P is currently used by 5 of the top 10 global electronic hardware manufacturers.

Patrick Treacy, Development Officer of the Cork Environmental Forum (CEF), recently said: "As a non-governmental organization (NGO) with an environmental perspective, C2P Navigator is an exceptional resource for us. It gives us the unique opportunity to stay informed on a wide range of regulatory and compliance issues. The attention to detail that has gone into compiling, organising and maintaining such a collection of information, and making it so accessible to the user, is extraordinary."

In addition to providing global regulations, C2P Navigator dashboards display compliance news, key dates, deadlines, exceptions, and exemptions, along with commentary from regional experts in North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. All of the information is fully searchable and exportable to facilitate each customer's specific reporting requirements.
