EAST GRINSTEAD, England--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec 03, 2008--
Diskeeper Corporation announced today the launch of new Diskeeper 2009, now with defrag engines at highest-ever speeds for maximum system performance.
The new Diskeeper 2009 includes enterprise features in all workstation editions matching the current need for peak efficiency of desktops with high storage capacity:
- Diskeeper Pro Premier workstation now contains the Terabyte Volume Engine(TM) technology to rapidly eliminate tens of thousands to millions of fragments on drives from 60 GB on up.
- Diskeeper Professional edition now includes I-FAAST® 2.0 (Intelligent File Access Acceleration Sequencing Technology). I-FAAST learns a system's disk performance and file access patterns. It then uses this data to greatly accelerate file access and creation where it's needed the most, giving the systems a performance boost of 10% to 80% for the most commonly accessed files.
- All editions have newly beefed up Free Space Defrag Engines to boost save/write speeds.
- InvisiTasking®, the processing technology behind Diskeeper's real-time operations, has been reengineered to consolidate files even faster on busy systems. InvisiTasking defragments the hard disk automatically in real-time, bypassing cumbersome scheduled maintenance to resolve fragmentation as it occurs.
- Diskeeper 2009 now provides Microsoft Operations Manager (MOM) and Systems Centre Operations Manager (SCOM) with numerous alerts, reports and the ability to manage and control product settings and configurations.
